There's Magic In the Air Challenge Card

I fell in love this digital image as soon as I saw it. I knew it would be perfect for masculine cards. Nina (owner and designer) of There's Magic in the Air is providing this image for free for a very limited time so don't delay in getting your own. Her challenge this week was to use this image and create a gate card. I've never made one before and it was a lot of fun. Thanks Nina. I hope you like what I created!

Paper: SU Buckaroo Blue, GP 110, Kraft
Ink: printer ink
Misc: Prismacolor pencils, silver pearls, nesties, cuttlebug embossing folder (distressed stripes)

  2. Hi Carrie
This is super super cute. I don't know why I never saw this come through my blog reader.
You did a great job coloring and the colors are perfect. I like the brown panels. It really sets off the card.

  3. I Really like this image and how you colored it.

Remember when we were talking about digi images and the fairy that I got. Well, when hubby finally came home after his trip, I ask him how to resize the image. He tells me we need a computer program to resize it. Go figure! I got this cute fairy image and to use it I have to make and 8x8 card!

  4. Carrie, FIRST tell your friend Leslie all she needs is Microsoft WORD or WORKS.. have her email me or look on my blog right under the blinkie of Kacey where it says "What is a digital stamp and how do I use it, she should find how to bring it up and use it in Word or Works, there are instructions there and you CAN RESIZE in Word, I am sure she has that on her computer already to type letters or whatever... so she does NOT need a special program to do a digi stamp!! and she does not have to make and 8x8 card!

So, now about your card, just lovely my dear and you did a wonderful on your first gate fold. Good choice of colors and love the spellbinder you used as well as the embossing folder. I am glad you can and played along this week's challenge!! lovely card!
