Tami's Challenge for Sunshine Stamps

I haven't created anything in awhile but I wanted to support Tami and Sunshine by doing this challenge. I created a gift card (decorated tin) and a matching card. I was inspired when I saw one of the football games this weekend and all the snow while it's cool here it's no where close to snowing. I used my new amuse sentiment that says Think Snow and Malcom is carrying a load of fresh snow in his truck.

Woo Hoo! I'm featured!

My friend Lori just not long ago pointed me to Tracy's Eat Sleep Stamps blog. I was looking for sketches to give me some mojo and I found it on Tracy's blog. It's so fun. Well this past Thursday my card was picked. I am so excited! Thank you so much Tracy! My card is featured on her blog. Go check it out! And while your there try her current challenge. It looks so much fun and if she gets 52 players their will be a great prize for one person.

Card for Paige

When I read Dustin's blog the other day about Paige it just hit home because I have a son that age. So I knew I was going to make a card for Paige. If you want to send Paige a card here is the blog that will give you the info (she has blog candy too) and if you link your card to Dustin's site he's offering up a free download to everyone who makes and sends a card to Paige. It's a worth while cause to make one little girl very happy!

I pulled out my new Basic Grey for this challenge and used the leftover pieces of the new SU incolors.

Who doesn't love cupcakes?

I created another card for the Taylored Expression Birthday Bash Challenges. This time I incorporated a few challenges together some I already did but I just was having so much fun I wanted to do them again. This one includes TEBBTV (this is my inspiration), TEBBDB, and TEBBDE.

Taylored Expressions and Etsy Inspired Challenges

I combined a few of the challenges to come up with this card. The shabby chic was the challenge I thought I was going to have the hardest time with but when I combined it with the challenge TEBBDM and the Etsy Inspired Challenge and found this on Etsy. I knew exactly what I wanted to do and I'm really happy with this card. I've never done Shabby Chic. I also paper pieced and distressed for this challenge. I hope you enjoy.

Christmas

Ok so I had planned to make Christmas cards throughout the year but that didn't exactly happen but at least I've started making some in August so it won't be a mad rush come November. This is a case of a layout I saw Markie's Mom use on SCS. I might redo it because I still feel like it needs something. Anyone have any input?

There's Magic In the Air Challenge Card

I fell in love this digital image as soon as I saw it. I knew it would be perfect for masculine cards. Nina (owner and designer) of There's Magic in the Air is providing this image for free for a very limited time so don't delay in getting your own. Her challenge this week was to use this image and create a gate card. I've never made one before and it was a lot of fun. Thanks Nina. I hope you like what I created!

Paper: SU Buckaroo Blue, GP 110, Kraft
Ink: printer ink
Misc: Prismacolor pencils, silver pearls, nesties, cuttlebug embossing folder (distressed stripes)

Gina K Color Challenge

Penny Black Challenge Week 61

I can't tell you how excited I was when I first found this blog. Most of my stamping buddies who know me know how much I love Penny Black. So when I saw this weeks sketch I just had to play along. It's my first attempt at any of the Penny Black challenges but I know it won't be my last! I hope you enjoy my card.

Two More Cards

I made two more cards this weekend! I used the sketch from Limelight Paper Crafts and added some shimmer to each of the cards. Enjoy!

Still searching for my chocolate pearls. I swear they grew legs and walked away and I can't get anymore locally so I must find them! Ooh and if your wondering about my blog header saying ..... it's because I haven't decided on a name yet.

Sorry I'm so Behind

I have been creating!! And it feels wonderful. When I saw the color challenge at stamp tv this week, I just knew the image I wanted to use for it but I didn't have a sketch in mind. So my friend Lori sent me the link to Tracy's blog and I knew that was perfect. So off I went to create and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. I hope that you like it. I have another card that is almost ready to go but I'm looking for my chocolate pearls that have seen to run off as the finishing touch.

CAS25 Chicken Soup?

Ok I have to get better at pictures but I'm am pretty happy with this card. When I saw the CAS challenge for this week I just knew exactly what I wanted to do. I've had this Inkadinkado stamp for awhile now. But I haven't make anything with it. So I masked it with tape so I could get the words seperate from the bowl and stamped them in momento. I used some SU DSP and CS that had been rak'd to me. The white is just GP110. I used black grograin. Colored the image with my copics. And for the final touches I used the copic spica on my spoon and some sakura glaze on my soup.

CAS 24

So I did my first challenge card today. It was for CAS 24 on SCS.

I still need to learn how to take better pictures but this was the best I could get today.

The challenge was to use yellow, orange, and turquoise. I used Gina K's My Cuppa Joe and stacked three coffee cups. Then stamped Thanks a Latte on the bottom with versafine onyx. Next I used my nesties to emboss the area. My original plan was to use a straight die but realized soon that that's the one I don't have yet. So I used my scallop rectangle instead. I hope you enjoy!

Introducing Angus Argus! This is a new line of digital stamps from Sunshine's Digital Stamps. Check her out here. Best of all he is free! I know if you are like me your always looking for great images for boy cards and Sunshine is providing that need for us! Yeah!

I printed him out and colored him with copics. Baby Blue, Lime Green, and Moss. Pop dotted him on the Kraft oval (you can't see that in my picture). The paper is SU Certainly Celery, Garden Green, and Kraft. I used my Nesties, Cuttlebug folder, and dew drops to finish this off!

My boys loved him when they saw him on the counter this morning! I can't wait to make more great cards with Angus!

Enjoy!

Ok.....so I jumped.

I'm now the proud owner of a blog. Hopefully I can keep it updated. No promises but I'll do my best!
